Recognised as a UNESCO Global Geopark, Ciletuh-Palabuhanratu Geopark aims to conserve and sustain the 126,100 hectares of 8 sub-districts and 74 villages. Visitors can enjoy a range of activities such as tracking, boating, cycling, paragliding and rock climbing beside the many waterfalls and scenic plantations.

Covering an area of over 400 square kilometres, Mount Halimum Salak National Park is renowned for its diverse flora and endangered species. Mount Halimum and Mount Salak are two active volcanoes providing a beautiful backdrop as you walk through the rainforest. Nature lovers and adventure seekers can explore the traditional Javanese villages and indulge in local food while being surrounded by diverse wildlife.  

Slightly further away from the bay, you can take a day trip to visit South East Asia’s longest suspension bridge with various attractions like a waterfall, lake and theatre. The challenge lies in crossing a 243 metres in length bridge while you trek to discover what nature has to offer.

For mammal lovers, the Rawakalong Goa Lalay is a 1.5 kilometre long cave system with underground rivers, waterfalls and rock formations. With a guide, you can walk along a few natural wonders home to several bat species that come out in the evening. If you’re a fan of the underground world, this is a must-see adventure not often seen by visitors in the region.

A typical local attraction that leaves your body feeling revamped is the Cisolok Hot Spring. While the attraction offers a pool and private baths, we recommend going straight for the jets of stream that blast up from the river bed to experience the ultimate therapeutic properties for your body and soul.
